Likely a good fit if….
✔ You’re motivated to dig deep
✔ You want insight into why you do/feel how you do and want the direct feedback (delivered with care)
✔ You are open to being challenged
✔ You and a partner are leaning into making a relationship stronger or healing from relationship adversity
May not be a great fit if….
✘ You are looking to build skills or change behavior without looking at the ‘why’
✘ You are not sure if you are committed to feeling better yet
✘ You are looking for a hype-person ONLY (don’t want the feedback with the hype)
✘ You are ambivalent about your current relationship (seek a counselor trained in Discernment)

Many people state that I understand them at a level that they have never felt before. I have a talent for deeply understanding people and helping them understand themselves. This results in clients feeling more normal and less alone! I believe that a counselor should be active in your treatment process while balancing listening. My clients know that I am going to give them honest feedback while making sure the delivery is comfortable.
-
The more open you can be with your therapist often results in the higher levels of healing you can achieve. This includes letting a therapist know what you think about their responses. Many people are afraid of feedback but we are often harder on ourselves than what other people actually think about us. Two-way feedback in therapy allows for you to better understand your patterns while also helping the therapist hone their craft and understanding of the client.

Throughout my life people have been naturally drawn to approach me with their deep thoughts and I have always had the ability to see dynamics and patterns in others. I’ve honed my ability to a visionary in helping others connect to their purpose through using empathetic guidance.
-
I struggled with unrelenting standards for myself growing up which became a breeding ground for anxiety, questioning my likability in relationships, and symptoms of OCD. Gaining insight into my patterns has been transformational in helping me find peace, confidence, and self-compassion. I really enjoy helping other people reach insight into their own life to feel more comfortable with who they are, reduce shame, reduce overwhelm, and become comfortable stepping into their own natural power.

I recommend “Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents” by Lindsay Gibson. I also think that all couples would benefit from reading the book “Fight Right” by Julie and John Gottman.

I can find excitement in just about anything, so picking up hobbies is no challenge here. Lately I have been thrifting and refurbishing items. I also enjoy reading and baking if it does not include doing the dishes after :) On the weekend you can catch me at local outdoor events with my family.
